Mrs. Felicity Ziga

Institutional Task Force member for Botswana and Legal services manager for Water Utilities Corporation (WUC)

2015 felicity Ziga ITFMrs. Felicity Reitumetse Ziga was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in the late 1970s. In 2001 she gained her LL.B (Bachelors degree in Law) from the University of Botswana, Gaborone.  In 2009, at the University of Stellenbosch, she undertook and completed the Management Development Programme. Currently Felicity is studying, long distance, to become a Chartered Secretary with the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators in South Africa.

Felicity has been employed by the Water Utilities Corporation of Botswana as a Legal Services Manager since 2008. She has been serving OKACOM on the Institutional Task Force (ITF) since 2011.

'For the sustainability of a shared resource as important as the Okavango-Cubango River you need a common understanding, so that you have common goals.'

She say OKACOM's role is important because 'it brings together the three countries to enable dialogue that will help sustain this vital resource’

Felicity is interested in life coaching and hopes to qualify as an accredited coach during the course of 2015. She is married and has two children, a boy aged six and girl aged two whom she describes as  having ‘embraced the terrible twos with a lot of enthusiasm’!
