Ms. Aina Ileka

OBSC alternate representative for Namibia, Hydrological Task Force member and Chief hydrologist: Groundwater Management at MAWF

Ms. Aina Ileka Ms Aina Ileka studied at the University of the Free State, South Africa to earn a BSc. in Natural Sciences in 2003 and then in 2004 she also gained a BSc (Hons.) in Geohydrology. In 2012 Aina went to the Executive Business School of the University of Stellenbosch where she attended the Management Development Programme.

Aina worked for Rossing Uranium Ltd from 2004, first as a Graduate Hydrogeologist, she was promoted, in 2005, to Hydrogeologist.  in 2007 she was again promoted to Project Hydrogeologist. In 2010 she went to work for the Namibian government’s Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry (MAWF) where she is currently employed as Chief Hydrologist in Groundwater Management.
