Appointment of the CORB Fund Executive Director- Mr Joshua Moloi

The Board of Directors of Cubango-Okavango River Basin (CORB) Fund wishes to announce the appointment of Mr Joshua J. Moloi as the Executive Director of CORB Fund with effect from the 2nd of February 2026.
Mr Moloi has an impressive educational background with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture coupled with a Master of Business Administration. He brings to the CORB Fund an extensive work experience spanning over thirty-one years in forestry management, leadership development, natural resource management, agriculture and Fund management. He has held senior management positions in various Non-Governmental Organisations and Government including among others; Forestry Association of Botswana (Extension Manager), Leadership Regional Network financed by the Kellogg Foundation (Programme Coordinator), Department of Forestry and Range Resources (Deputy Director), Forest Conservation Botswana (Chief Executive Officer) and the Ministry of Agriculture (Director of Crop Production and later Deputy Permanent Secretary – Arable Farming).
Mr Moloi has been to short term training courses during his career amongst them the following: Leadership Development, Strategic Corporate Communications and Public Relations, Customer Service, Performance Management Systems, Community Involvement in Forest Management, Trade Dispute (Industrial Relations), Corporate Identity and Promotion of Social Forestry in Africa.
The Board of Directors wishes to welcome Mr Moloi to start and propel the CORB Fund to attain its mission of undertaking, facilitating and financing activities on conservation, sustainable development and utilization of water resources in the CORB. This will require his strong skills in strategic planning, financial resource mobilization and utilization, decisiveness, coordination, customer service and desire for results. His vast exposure on the functioning of Board of Directors at national and international level is desirable for managing the CORB Fund.
